Hello, we are using WPML for English translations on our WordPress site and are experiencing an issue where the minimum quantity and quantity steps mostly work correctly in the default language but not in the English translation. The same problem applies to quantity steps. Could you please let us know how we can adjust or define these values specifically for the English version? Is it possible to manage the English values via product import, or are there separate meta fields for translated data (e.g. _wcmmq_min_qty, _wcmmq_max_qty, _wcmmq_step for English)? Any guidance on how to properly configure this with WPML would be greatly appreciated. Since the last plugin update, our original language quantity step for our colored products has also an error starting with 1 instead of the quatity step 200, since we have a lot of products in this category i cannot fix all of them manually.

This issue happens because WPML does not automatically sync the custom product meta fields used by the Min-Max Control plugin between languages.

Please go to WPML → Settings → Custom Fields Translation and set the following fields to Copy (or Copy once):

    • _wcmmq_min_qty
    • _wcmmq_max_qty
    • _wcmmq_step

After that, re-sync the product meta from WPML → Support → Troubleshooting or bulk-update the affected products once.

There are no separate language-specific meta fields for English. WPML uses the same meta keys for all languages, controlled by these settings.

This should also fix the quantity step resetting to 1 after the last update.

Hello! Thank you very much for your helpful feedback! This is exactly what i need to fix this issue. Unfortunately, in our setup, the mentioned fields do not appear under “WPML → Settings → Custom Fields Translation”. So far, I can only edit these fields when I manually open the English version of a product using the “all Languages” filter under the main tab “all products”. Could you please advise if there is a way to make these custom fields visible in the WPML settings when they do not appear by default, or how WPML determines which fields can be translated or copied?
