Sorry about that! There should have been a class assigned to the announcement image. I’m not sure what happened.
When I push out the next update, I will certainly add the missing class to the image.
In the meantime you can go into the code base and update the following line to temporarily add a class to the image:

It is just missing a class="announcement-banner-image" from the <img> tag.

I’ve just pushed out a v 1.2.8 – which now includes the missing class.
Sorry about that. Go ahead and update to the latest version – and the class should then be present.
