    Hello,

The title of the plugin suggests “restore” as well, but actually it does not have restore as it is available in the premium, premium is another plugin not the same, so the title is misleading.

Although it is a nice plugin, but I will remove it from my websites.

    Regards,

    Thanks @solutionsdev, appreciate the feedback.

I include restore in the title because I want people to know that we do support restore but you are correct, the one-click restore is only available in the premium plugin. I try to make it really obvious by listing out all the free and premium features right in the description.

I also spent quite a bit of time writing detailed instructions on how to restore your site manually here:

Hate to lose you but understand. Thanks again for the feedback. I am not sure I am going to change it but will give your post some thought.

Thanks Chris @cssimmon for your reply.

You could put somewhere on the first line or first paragraph to mention another plugin with restore and probably additional features.

This plugin is nice, I liked it, but what I needed is something quick to be used in the development stage that provides quick restore to a several points as I am trying different themes and plugins in the development and once they have problems I need to remove all traces and return to a point.

On the other hand, I am a developer myself and do understand completely that sometimes you need to get additional support to keep on the track.

Thanks again and best luck wishes.

Thanks @solutionsdev. I have plans to update that content this month so will modify like you suggested. I truly am not trying to mislead anyone, just trying to make all the features known.

Please let me know what tool you land on. Very curious. I do have some customers(developers and designers) that use WPBackItUp like you described but it’s really geared more towards less technical users.

Thanks again and really appreciate you adding this comment in the support section vs a poor review.

    Hi Chris,

No, I wouldn’t try to make a poor review, I know it wouldn’t support you. One tool is a good one, I use it on some websites, but I tried to use another, it was good for migration rather than backup & restore as I needed a simple plugin, you could find it at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/, It has limits to the free version and extended on the paid version.

Try looking for keywords like migration, duplicating.

    Best regards and good luck
