Have you checked (via FTP or otherwise) to see if the file /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/wp-content/ewww/pngquant exists on your server?
It’s not likely the plugin would try to run a “missing” file, but quite possible that your server has restrictions that prevent the web user from running such a file. It may even be that “/usr/bin/nice” is what is missing/disallowed.
All that said, we can find more information if you would post the debug information from the support tab. You may post it here in a code block, via pastebin.com, or send us a message directly via https://ewww.io/contact-us/
Please also let us know your web host, as there may be known issues: https://docs.ewww.io/article/43-supported-web-hosts
Hey, The plugin works for years. Now this pops up. I tried to install the files by hand. the go away, I reinstalled the plugin, the message comes.
It’s possible your server might have an anti-virus program that is erasing the binaries. Some of the AV programs used by web hosts are not very good at scanning binaries (or anything else for that matter). I’d check with your web host to see why it is happening to know for sure.
It’s my own server, I don’t have special AVs on it, but the error is gone. So maybe it is possible that imunify360 has caused the error. I have removed if awaile ago, but there where still “lost” components of it, that I removed by hand now.
That would make sense, since Imunify AV was the one that had the most recent case of false positives!
