I tried to setup via admin panel – without any plugins. WP version: 441, theme: twenty sixteen. I didn’t changed anything in the WP codes, no installed any plugins. Just a simple WP system…
I never no used before WP (used only IPBoard), so I started to testing only. I’m readed everywhere about the infos from the advenced menu properties, but I can’t find this option! Images included from my admin area in the 1st post.
Do you used or tested the v441? If yes, have you that option?

The situation is the next: There is no problem, I’m find the “missing” option! It was my bad – because I’m tried to find this option at the admin area’s main/start page!
Yes, there is this option at the Menu’s settings page!
What a big mistake… 😀
(I’m learn the WP only, but next time I’ll try keep my eyes open before when I start any conversations about from my mistakes…)
