Missing Arrows & Header Color

When I moved the wordpress site from a sub-folder to the root, I lost the colour that was once behind the header of the calendar, the colour to indicate ‘today,’ and the arrows to navigate to the next month.

I have already changed tried using the twenty fourteen theme, and I have uninstalled both WP fullCalendar and Events Manager then reinstalled them… and no luck.
