Thank you for your offer of help. I have created 3 staging sites with different staging environments to aid with your investigations:
https://www.vv.photography/before update/
This site is before the sunshine plugin update is applied and a selection of other plugins and a theme are waiting to be updated. The cart icon is present.
https://www.vv.photography/aftersunshineupdate/
This staging site is with the latest sunshine plugin updated but other plugins and a theme are still requiring an update. The cart icon is missing.

This site has all plugins and theme up to date. The cart icon is missing. In addition to this there is a separate subdomain www.fr.vv.photography, this did the same thing when I tried the update so I have left it to apply the same solution as the main domain. Is this the icon you are referring to?

Thank you so much. Yes the icon in the screenshot was totally missing and when selecting an image with 3 icons at the top, back, favourite and cart, the cart icon was missing. I will try your suggestion and appreciate your assistance.
