Missing Confirmation page and Email

    Hi Guido,

    Thanks for creating the form. I was wondering how can I customise a message/page for display after a successful submission? With my current edits on the 3 tabs (General, Labels, Message) In addition, I had a bit of issue receiving a confirmation email as well. Appreciate it if you have any advice regarding this?

    Hi Mel,

    Confirmation is just text, you cannot customize a page. You will notice extra characters are added to the URL of your contact page, after submission is send. The thank you message is displayed at the same page.

    About receiving submission, you’re not receiving anything?

    Hi Guido,

    Yes, that’s correct, the thank you message I pre-set is not displayed on the page after submission. I have actually tried with other contact form plugins, others remained on loading forever when I click on the submit button, only Very Simple managed to get out of that but load into a blank page instead.

    Do you reckon it could be a server or database issue instead of something with the plugin?

    Hi Mel,

    I think you’re having a conflict with another plugin, are you using a caching / optimalisation plugin perhaps?

    Hi Guido,

    I did have a caching plugin but it was not activated. Are you thinking that the order of activating the plugins could be a contributing factor towards this?

    Hi Mel,

    If you have deactivated that plugin it should not have effect anymore.

    Did you disable JavaScript perhaps?

    If not, can you give me the URL of your site, so I can take a look at the form myself? Maybe I find something while inspecting the source code of the page.
