• I’m hoping someone can help me with this please!!!!!!

    Short version is this…

Logged in this morning and noticed that in my admin the Posts & categories were missing. Although it had a number showing how many, under posts it stated “no posts found”.

After spending the day looking for solutions at some point I repaired the database tables which brought me to having to re-setup my blog again (not sure if that is whats supposed to happen). From what I can tell, the database is in tact, the files exist on my ftp and everything seems ok.

EXCEPT for my content. It’s gone from my admin and front end. But I can see the files from my ftp, and as I mentioned, the database it in tact. I do have a backup of the sql database but not sure what to do with it.

Can anyone shed some light on this please!!!!!

    Thanks!!!!

The files don’t matter here, your content is in the database. Have you opened the sql file to see if your posts are in there?

    Thanks for responding!

I checked the actual sql and the posts seem to be missing. Now I have a backup up of the old database. Is there still away to get the old data back?
