Missing CSS Files Causing 404 Errors
-
Dear MasterStudy Support Team,
I’m experiencing performance issues on my website due to missing CSS files from the MasterStudy LMS plugin. The plugin is attempting to load CSS files that don’t exist, resulting in 404 errors that are negatively impacting site performance and Google PageSpeed scores.
Site Details:
- Plugin: MasterStudy LMS v3.6.5
- WordPress: 6.8.1
- Theme: MasterStudy v4.8.107
- Website: ajedrezenminutos.com
Issue Description: The plugin is trying to load the following CSS files that return 404 errors:
/wp-content/plugins/masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system/_core/assets/css/vc_modules/courses/style_1.css?ver=3.6.5/wp-content/plugins/masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system/_core/assets/css/vc_modules/courses/style_2.css?ver=3.6.5/wp-content/plugins/masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system/_core/assets/css/vc_modules/courses/style_3.css?ver=3.6.5
Console Errors:
GET https://misite.com/wp-content/plugins/masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system/_core/assets/css/vc_modules/courses/style_1.css?ver=3.6.5 net::ERR_ABORTED 404 (Not Found)Performance Impact: These 404 errors are causing:
- Reduced Google PageSpeed scores
- Failed HTTP requests
Could you please provide:
- The missing CSS files, or
- Guidance on why these files are being called if they shouldn’t exist, or
- A proper fix to prevent these 404 errors
I’ve temporarily created empty CSS files as a workaround, but I’d prefer to implement the official solution.
Thank you for your assistance. Please let me know if you need any additional information.
