Missing Custom Field

    I havn’t used WordPress so this is my first install. I am aware that when you add posts there should be a means to add custom fields at the bottom. I’m not seeing that. The only place where i see a means to add custom fields is when adding new pages but not when adding new posts? I have de-activated all plugins and i’m running the latest version

    Click Screen Options at the very top of a post and check “Custom Fields”.

    that was well hidden, last place i would of looked. I thought screen options was for changing text size (general readability) of the page. Thanks
