Missing events

Hello,

I found that past events were gone — ones that recur but on different dates that I had planned to update with a new date for next year.

It’s possible that I was over-aggressive with a database cleanup, but it shows in admin tools that there’s a number of orphaned events.

I’m wondering:

1. Is there a setting that I’m missing in this plugin that removes past events and can I turn it off so I can remove past events manually if I choose?
2. Is there a way to RECOVER not remove orphaned events if some of these were ones I was planning to keep
