• Hi

since installing Permalink Manager (latest version) our Ninja Forms generated administrator mails don’t contain the {wp:post_url} value anymore. I tested various hidden fields and some of them are being sent and others aren’t.

    Looking forward and thanks!

    Sebastian

    Hi Sebastian,

Could you try to temp. deactivate Permalink Manger and send test email to check if all the fields are populated correctly?

    Best regards,

    Maciej

I already did that and the fields populated the message correctly.

Ok, unfortunately I wasn’t able to reproduce this on my development server, and after reviewing the support tickets, no one else has reported a similar issue.

I checked how Ninja Forms populates the {wp:post_url} field, and a potential conflict may be related to url_to_postid() function not working correctly. It could be also a piece of code that overwrites the global $post object like in the below issue description:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/merge-tags-in-ninja-forms-are-not-pulling-listing-data/

    Most likely this fails here:
    https://plugins.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/ninja-forms/trunk/includes/MergeTags/WP.php#L116

Are you using Permalink Manager Lite (free version) or Permalink Manager Pro?

Could you also provide me with a sample URL (with and without Permalink Manager activated) where the affected form is displayed + the screenshot with admin emails (with and without Permalink Manager activated)?

    We’re using Permalink Manager Lite,

Here’s a screenshot of the fields in the form (but it happens in all forms).

Thanks, but unfortunately this screenshot doesn’t help. I need a screenshot of the actual sample email, not the settings, so I can compare how it looks with and without my plugin enabled.

Here’s a screenshot of the form-mail with Permalink Manager on:

Thank you, I really wish I could help, but I am unable to reproduce this issue in any way, even with WPML or Polylang activated. The only way to investigate further would be if you could set up a staging environment where I can debug this, but this is not allowed for security reasons, as stated in the ww.wp.xz.cn guidelines:

So I made a copy of the site and deactivated all the plugins one by one and switching off The Events Calendar (incl. Pro) has the same effect as turning off Permalink Manager Lite. For whatever that’s worth.
