@digitalfaber – This is usually a conflict with other plugins but we have not found a root cause for the issue although we have found our external Reset Tool plugin may help.

I have the same problem, an hour ago I was working normally.
I uninstall all the plugins and reinstall nextgen and still not visible in the wordpress menu.
@marcoarreguin – It would be much better to start your own topic as although your issue may be similar it will not be the “same” and there could be some other underlying cause as there is no reason NextGEN Gallery would work fine and then an hour later not.
