    Hello,

I’ve enabled AVIF support in LiteSpeed Cache / QUIC.cloud image optimization, but I can’t find any information about how AVIF usage is billed.

    • The QUIC.cloud pricing pages only mention general image optimization credits.
    • The dashboard also doesn’t show any breakdown or mention of AVIF usage.

    Could you clarify:

    1. Does converting images to AVIF use the same optimization credits as WebP, or is it calculated differently?
    2. Is there a way to view how many credits AVIF conversions have used?
    3. Will the pricing or reporting be updated to explicitly include AVIF?

Right now it’s hard to understand the cost impact of enabling AVIF, since neither the dashboard nor pricing documentation mention it.

    Thanks for your help!

Image Optimization has two processing queues: Standard and Advanced.

Standard Queue includes image optimization and WebP generation, and is always 100% free.

Advanced Queue includes faster image optimization and either WebP or AVIF generation. You get free Advanced Queue credit at the beginning of every month, and if you need more, you can buy it (either a $5/month subscription for 20000 additional requests that amounts to $0.00025 per image, or a pay-as-you-go $3 for 10000 requests that amounts to $0.0003 per image).

So, the costs associated with selecting AVIF as your next-generation image format are the same as using the Advanced Queue power-up. Hope this helps!

I will take a look at our pricing page and documentation and see if I can make these costs more clear. Thanks for the feedback.
