Missing page

    Hi,

    I have a static front page but cannot edit it because it is not on the list of pages. I wonder if this has anything to do with having deleted what looked like a duplicate entry in the menus panel.

    Now I can see the page in the Settings > menus panel but when I try to delete it (in order to create a new one I can edit) it keeps coming back to menu list but not the page list.

    Is there a particular wordpress file that could be replaced or editted? Or would I need to change the SQL database?

    Actually when I visit the website with Dashboard open there is an edit button at the bottom of the screen. Do I need to worry about the integrity of the site – with the page list being incomplete?

    What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    Actually I think the problem is that I still have not mastered the Dashboard fully yet. I have discovered that the list of pages is split up into two pages in the “All pages” panel.

    Sorry.

    I am using twentytwelve, which I set up from the Dashboard’s “Theme” panel.
