Missing play icon after the update

    I recently updated Beaver Builder to 2.1.0.2 and WPD BB Additions to the latest version.
    Video play icons are missing. BB upgraded to Font Awesome 5, but I tried it with activating Font Awesome 4 and deactivating 5, but it’s still the same problem.
    I also tried deleting and reinstalling WPD BB Additions plugin, clearing out cache, but the icons are still missing.
    Also, when I try to go edit the video module on that page, it hangs.

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    I see what you mean!

    It seems that a few others (even those who aren’t using WPD BB Additions) are having the same issue with icons not displaying since updating Beaver Builder – I’ve been discussing it on the Beaver Builder Slack group this morning, and the debate is still ongoing as I type this.

    I’m unable to replicate the issue on a few test sites with the very latest version of Beaver Builder, so I’m fairly sure it’s an icon pack issue/conflict – but I’ll keep testing.

    From what I can see, your theme uses FontAwesome 4.7 (to display the search icon, and the ‘up’ icon for the scroll to top square), and this *might* be causing some conflict – but that’s nothing more than a hunch right now.

    Regarding the builder hanging when you edit a video – this is definitely a bug – an update will be released today 🙂

    It seems the icon issue is fairly widespread – I’ve heard of ~10 different people talking about it on Slack & Facebook.

    There *might* be some sort of change I have to make to this plugin too, so I’ll wait to hear from the BB team for their official line.

    Thanks! The update fixed the hanging issue.
    Do you know if the icons will be fixed in the next update? Or is there a way to fix them? Still displays as an empty box

    I’m glad that the hanging issue is fixed.

    Regarding the icons – as I say, this is a Beaver Builder issue – lots of people (who don’t use WPD BB Additions) are having the same issue – so, unfortunately, it’s out of my hands.

    I’m sure that the BB team will release an update to fix it soon.
