    Hi there,
I tried to translate just one word of a plugin called themify woocommerce product filter. Unfortunately the .pot file was missing so i created one by clicking the respective button. Now it says that the .pot file could be overwritten by the next wordpress update. Could you tell me if it was right to create a new .pot file and how i can prevent an overwriting after the next wordpress update? Thanks so much for your help in advance!

For my advice on creating your own templates, please see Working with POT files in Loco Translate

Now it says that the .pot file could be overwritten by the next wordpress update.

If you decide it was right to create a new template, don’t save it in a folder that will be overwritten. In the Loco Translate bundle configuration you can enter a relative path for the POT file, so I suggest something like “../../languages/loco/plugins” or any safe location you control.
