    Hi,

I have just noticed that our product page Q&A section does not have “Ask question” button which is very strange. I tried to debug it on test server but seems like its not plugin conflict, at least I have not yet found the one causing it.
Using latest Flatsome theme which should be well compatible with Customer Review plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    Thanks for using CusRev.

There is an option to setup the permission to submit Q&A then the button will display on the product page. Please go to Reviews > Settings > Q&A tab > Q & A Permissions to set it up.

    I hope that helps.

I have gone through all the settings.

Everything looks correct and worked before. After we updated product page with custom page design(Flatsome) it seems to have stopped working. It should work by default without any additional shortcode?

Any update or fix for this case?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your additional information.

How do you add the Q&A section to the product page? If you switch to a WordPress theme and deactivate all other plugins except CusRev, WooCommerce, is the issue resolved?

We are using Flatsome Theme and have built custom product page using UX builder. On product page we are using cusrev shortcode:

    [cusrev_all_reviews sort=”DESC” sort_by=”date” per_page=”10″ number=”-1″ show_summary_bar=”true” show_products=”true” categories=”” product_tags=”” tags=”” products=”current” shop_reviews=”true” number_shop_reviews=”-1″ inactive_products=”false” show_replies=”false” show_more=”5″ min_chars=”0″ avatars=”initials” users=”all” add_review=”true”]

Well, I guess you might be correct because before we applied that custom page it was all working. So I’m wondering, it cannot be used for custom pages via shortcode? Because the section is there and Q&A section is working, except the question button.

Thank you for providing additional details!

The shortcode that you shared above is for reviews. It won’t display questions and answers. So, you must be using something else for the Q&A section. Could you double check from your side?

Could you also re-share the screenshot of your Q&A settings in the admin console? The link that you shared previously seems to be broken.

We do not have anything additional to display Q&A section. I guess it is automatically added to product page because we only use reviews shortcode.

The ‘Ask a question’ button can be missing for one of the following reasons:

    1. Either because the ‘Q & A Permissions’ setting is set to ‘Nobody can ask or answer question’: to confirm this, please re-save settings on the Q&A tab
    2. Or because you have modified the default PHP template file for Q&A tab called ‘qna-tab.php’ located in the ‘templates’ folder of the plugin and in the current theme folder: to confirm this, please temporarily switch to any official WordPress theme, disable caching plugins, and check if the ‘Ask a question’ button will reappear

Hi! Thanks for answering. Not sure but after re-saving once again Q&A permissions setting, it worked. Had it only logged in users can ask questions but it had no effect. After re-saving its working again.

So its fixed. Topic can be closed. Thank you!
