Missing Search Button in the Editor
-
I am not seeing the search button above the editor. The only way to get it to display is by deactivating Pagebuilder.
Pagebuilder is essential to many website. Please provide a fix.

The product search bar also doesn’t display above the editor if you have the Advanced Custom Fields plugin activated.

I have the same problem and I need absolutely an explanation. I installed this plug in (Associates Link Builder) and I can’t find the search button with the plug in icon in my text editor. Why? I red the manual and I saw an image with some example:

This is my wordpress interface without the search option:

Is it a problem that has to do with conflicts? How can I enable the search button? I made every passage explained in the PDF manual.
You have a plugin installed that is preventing it from displaying. Mine was Pagebuilder, another user said it was Advanced Custom Fields.
You must have a plugin installed that adds a feature to the editor. Disable it, and Amazon will work.
Hopefully amazon releases a fix
Same problem. This plugin is incompatible with Site Origin Page Builder. I can’t turn off Site Origin Page Builder or else many of my posts won’t look right while it’s de-activated.
Hopefully Amazon will find a fix to this incompatability.
LOL and the manual says :
Known Issues
NoneThis is a huge usability issue. I cannot disable the other plug-in as all my pages depend on it – so I cannot preview my product ads!
I have found that other mice editors works.
Clearly this is an issue of Amazon not playing nice with other plugins that add capabilities to the editor. The other guys play nice with each other. Therefore I am sure it is an AALB coding issue.Clearly AALB is not registering the position its menu controls require without considering who is already loaded. Ninja Forms and WP Forms play nice with Visual Builder from UNYSON/ThemeFuse.
My work-around is to edit this in a non-page/non-post text-box editor and copy/paste. Ugghly
AALB needs to come with a widget tool.

isaaa. Reason: details added
As noted by @isaaa, Amazon seems to fail to recognize this clear conflict with other widely used plugins. This is either an oversight, their failure to read these threads, or their lack of concern. Regardless, this problem needs to be resolved by Amazon as it cost not only affiliates money, but costs Amazon money.
I, like many, have a conflict due to Site Origin’s Page Builder. Also, like others, I use SOPB as a vital part of the site. Between SOPB and AALB, the former gets priority.
Amazon — please fix this clear problem!

I posted about this on Amazon’s Associate support forum under “technical issues.” Hopefully they’ll look into this problem and resolve it quickly.
