Missing Shipping Details

Thanks so much for this plugin! I run a flower shop and all other methods of printing orders as they come in have failed. I’ve tried all kinds of printing methods, including directly printing to the HP printer by using their ePrint service, but in the last week, even that has failed. And the HP printer will not print a forwarded email for some reason…

I like how this works, but…in all of the three templates in the free version, everything is printed EXCEPT for the shipping details. The shipping method is printed, but the shipping details are not, which is vital info that I need in order to make the product delivery.

I guess I have forgotten that I’m using Checkout Field Editor…which, according to other posts, is not supported.

Oh well. I’ll keep hoping that you add that support. In the meantime, I’ll still be looking for ways to print orders as they come in.

Thanks for sharing all that information. Yes, you are correct. If you are using the Checkout Field Editor plugin, this is why the potential fields you have added are not showing up on the default print templates when a print job is created.

The good news, even though we don’t officially support the plugin, you as a business owner can add the support with a Custom Print template. Most knowledgeable developers can add the support within 2-4 hours of work, especially if they are using the default template as reference and developer sample print template. When the Checkout Field Manager creates a new entry, it creates a meta field. On the Custom Print template, you need to have that custom meta field added into the Print template. Once the order is processed, this new additional meta field will be included in a print job.
