    Hi,

    I get a 404 error when trying to access the sitemap url. I am using nginx (I don’t think EasyEngine), and have no .htaccess file. I have resaved permalink settings and Nginx does have this:

    location / {
    try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$args ;
    }

    Thanks.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hmmm, it seems I can reach the sitemap if I add a trailing slash, i.e. /sitemap.xml/, so likely a server configuration issue. I’ll check with my host, unless you have any other ideas?

    Thanks.

    Hello!

    Thanks for forwarding this issue. It made me decide to rewrite the sitemap integration, so it’ll always work from the next update:
    https://github.com/sybrew/the-seo-framework/issues/442

    I’m glad you’ve found that the trailing slash works! I didn’t even think of that, awesome!

    For now, you’ll want to sign up with Google Search Console, and submit your sitemap with the trailing slash; so they’ll know where to find it.

    Cheers! 🙂
