    Hi everyone,

I’m wondering if my Google Shopping feed is properly optimized. It feels like I’m getting too many irrelevant visitors and search terms on my site. I exclude those terms in Google Ads, but it still seems like something might be wrong with the feed itself.

Here’s a screenshot of how it looks:
    https://i.ibb.co/67wBh3vW/Schermafbeelding-2025-08-31-103010.png

From what I can see, all the essential product information is included:

    Brand
    Material
    Descriptions
    Photos
    Titles
    Links
GTIN / EAN / Article number

What can I improve to get better results? Any advice on optimizing the feed would be really helpful!
    Thanks in advance.`

    Dear @0108daniel

Thank you for reaching out to us.

If you have used our default Google Merchant feed template, it already includes all the required and recommended attributes to optimize your feed. However, it has nothing to do with irrelevant visitors, since the feed only provides product data to Google Merchant to help get your items approved.

To avoid irrelevant visitors, you need to manage exclusions directly in your Google Merchant Center (GMC). For example, if you don’t want visitors from India, make sure you don’t select India as a target country when uploading your feed.

Also, ensure that your product titles and descriptions are accurate, not stuffed with incorrect keywords, and free from misleading brand names.

If you are running ads, double-check that your targeting settings are configured correctly.

    Thank you for your message.
    Did you see my screenshot?
Is everything there what it needs to be there in the feed?

Target and product titles are correctly, even the keywords.
We exclude every week more then 500 incorrect keywords already.
