Missing the Rate Limit otion

    I see I can still fill in the rate limit at the “Visit” item.
    But it seems not any more possible to use it for Publishing Posts. This is a pity as I used that option.

    Can I do anything? Or can I download an old version?

    Hi Karla,

    WordPoints has never intentionally enabled the Rate Limit option for publishing posts, only the Visit event. Are you sure that you used it for the publishing posts event before? If so, maybe you had installed a plugin or extension that had enabled that feature.

    Hi Karla,

    I’ve added this as a feature request, to enable Rate Limits in WordPoints for all events by default. You can vote for the feature request here.

    The plan has been to enable this eventually, but there are some issues around what would happen when a rate limit was being used, and a user unpublished a post, as well as other technical issues. We plan to resolve these issues in the future.

    As far as your experience of having this enabled already, as I said, that wouldn’t have been intentional on WordPoints’s part. I would be curious to know what might have caused it.

    I searched and found the plugin I used. Somewhere I lost it..
