Having an odd issue with my nextgen galleries. Thumbnails are present on the first page of any gallery I have on my site but when scrolling to the next page (on any gallery) the thumbnails don’t load, the links still work to view the image just no thumbnail.

I’ve tried with different browsers (including mobile both wife and mobile data) and I get the same issue but a friend tried it and said they had no issues. I’ve tried creating new thumbnails (I can see the thumbnails exist when using my ftp) and I’ve cleared the cache for the site but still get the same issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi @benjidude,

In most of the cases it is JetPack’s image loading optimiser conflicting with NGG’s AJAX pagination. Please deactivate JetPack’s image loading optimiser and that’ll fix it.

Thanks for the quick response, after looking through my dashboard I don’t see jetpack anywhere…

    Hi @benjidude,

It could be from JetPack but it ( images lazy loading ) also may be enabled from a different site optimization plugin such as WP Rocket, Autoptimize etc.

Unfortunately, you’ll need this feature disabled for NGG’s AJAX pagination to function.

    That got it! Thank you!
