Missing workflow trigger on “user UN-subscribes”

    Hi there,

    I am using Event Subscribers v5.0.5 on WordPress 5.8.2 German.

    When creating a workflow, I cannot find the trigger condition “User Unsubscribes”. So I cannot make the plugin sending me emails on that trigger, which is a very importat one.

    I can only find the triggers “user subscribed” (often needed) and “user unconfirmed” (which means, user has registered but not yet clicked on the confirmation link; not much useful for me). But there is no “user unsubscribed”.

    In previous versions, this was automatically there. Now it is totally gone.

    Where can I configure this?

    Hi Kai,

    Thanks for contacting us.

    Currently, the user unsubscribed trigger isn’t available in the plugin, therefore currently it won’t be possible to notify admin when someone unsubscribes. But we have found your use case to be quite useful. Therefore we will include this trigger in the upcoming releases. We will let you know when this goes out.

    Hi Kai,

    Thanks for your response.

    We are glad to inform you that we have added the new trigger ‘User Unsubscribed’ in our dev version of the plugin. We probably will release it in the upcoming week.

    You can wait till that time or if you want to try out the trigger before that, you can directly contact us here. We will provide you a plugin zip file then so that you can test it and confirm at your end as well.

    Hello there,

    We have released a new version(5.0.7) which includes User Unsubscribed‘ workflow trigger. Using this new trigger, you can send emails to the admin whenever someone unsubscribes on your site.

    Please update to the latest version and let us know how it goes. Let us know if you have any more queries or facing any difficulty.
