Is there any circumstances that lead to disappearing all options.php, options-something.php, totally 8 files from wp-admin directory after WP installation?
    I have not a single one options-smth.php.

Remain calm and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

Thanks James, regrettably, not my case. Not yet. I’ve just installed WP on this server.
I’ll take in account all your security recommendations carefully.

Any other guess about my case?

How long after installation did the files suddenly disappear?

There are a few WP driven sites work on this server. And no one of them have options.php files in wp-admin directory.

So, my educated guess was: by some reasons server hides that files or kills them explicitly. Uploading options.php shows no appearance. I haven’t found:”Show hidden files”.

At the same time this particular site works fine, allows changing themes unless it is uploaded theme upon admin panel. Uploading impossible, I guess because of ridiculously long path: /var/www/www/data/www/sitename.com

Of course, I can upload straight to the server and I did. But activating uploaded themes does not mean success. Some of them work but not the one I’ve purchased. This particular theme causes complete crash.

That’s why I took a look at options.php and have not found it.

I would appreciate any kind of support, James.

That’s very odd. Who is your hosting provider?

what kind of server are you using? Shared or VPS? Linux Cpanel or Plesk?

As for server, it calls itself ISPsystem and here it is https://www.ispsystem.com/

This seems issue on web server. Your hypothesis can be the reason. I cant think of something else unless server has been hacked or the same.

Work around could be restoring backups from snapshots if there is/are.

Thanks Borge but the site is a new born baby. I installed WP on Monday and immediately faced whole bunch of problems, in case you mean the site is hacked.
Do you think the server has been already hacked?

I really cant tell. Way to say is to check the server access logs.

Please, accept my apology, gentlemen. All files are intact. Shortage of attention caused me to ask such a complicated questions.
The matter is that in file manager files appear page by page. So, I considered only the tip of the iceberg but not complete list of files.

    The case is closed.
