G’day ashleywordpress,
A quick look at some CSS on your site and I found this:
https://www.b-rebelcommunications.com/wp-content/themes/thegem/css/custom-hULYo25a.css
It contains HTTP links to web fonts. It looks like you have save your theme settings while logged in to the admin in HTTP. Make sure you always log in to the admin on HTTPS, and save your theme settings again — that should update the file. If it doesn’t, see help from your theme author.
cheers,
Ross
Great, thanks Ross – I have logged into admin in HTTPS, I just don’t know how to save my theme settings, is there a pluggin for that? Or do I do it manually by page?
Thanks so much! Ashley
G’day Ashley,
Look under Appearance in your WordPress admin menu. There should be something like Theme Options or similar. If you can’t find something there, contact your theme author for help.
cheers,
Ross
wow! this works! Thank you sooo much. You have no idea, I have been speaking to several different Powweb Techs all day and they couldn’t figure it out.
Yay!
It’s always tricky when the problem hides in a CSS file. You need to look in each stylesheet to find the problem. Easy enough if you know to look there 🙂
cheers,
Ross
Hi webaware and ashleywordpress,
I think I may be struggling with the same issue.
I got a SSL certificate today and used “Search and Replace” as recommended, but my site (www.gustoandgecko.com) is only secure when the font is Times New Roman. But in the unsecure version, my original font is Gloria Hallelujah. So I suspect its a font issue but I’m not sure how to solve it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
