• Hi,

I have a new site with https enabled (it’s a linux based web app on azure, don’t know if it could matter…), and when I try to install wordpress, I get mixed content errors.
Infact, the css are not loaded (since they are served in http), and of course if I finish the installation I have the same problem in the site.

In this scenario the problem appears at the very first screen as you can see. It’s very strange since the site is correctly in https…

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I think you can follow the steps without style until WordPress is installed. After it you should double-check the URL-settings in Settings > Generell. There should be the https-URL. If not, change it and update Settings > Permalinks after it.

    Hi,

I did as suggested, the site installed and works in http, but in settings ->general, there was http.
But when I change it, I can’t access anymore on admin because I get “too many redirects” (and I see it tries to get me to the https url)

Try to use an inkognito-window of your browser. It might be a Cookie- or cache-problem within your browser. I have no problem to call your site.

It’s because I just fixed a moment ago. I did the following:

    – installed in http
    – installed Really Simple SSL and activated https from there

Anyway I think there is a very bad issue in wordpress for not being able to enable https on its own.
    It’s something I expect built in…
