Mixed Products with Subscriptions

    Just tried to add a simple product (one time) and a subscription product (monthly) into the same shopping cart and received this message: “Products and subscriptions cannot be mixed in your shopping cart.” How do I enable this functionality? Thanks!

    Hi @wallyj2k,

    1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Subscriptions.
    2. Scroll down to ‘Miscellaneous’.
    3. Enable ‘Mixed Checkout’.

    In the standard WooCommerce, Settings does not have a “Subscriptions” section. Those seem to be instructions for the Subscriptions paid plugin for WooCommerce. I am trying to do it with a standard installation.

    The standard WooCommerce installation has only four product types:

    1. Simple Product
    2. Grouped Product
    3. External / Affiliate Product
    4. Variable Product

    How did you add a subscription product without the Subscriptions Extension?

    Braintree Plugin for WooCommerce. Maybe it’s their error I’m seeing. I’ll check with them. Thanks!

    Ah OK. I see they did add “Support for mixed shopping cart” with version 2.1.7 of the Braintree For WooCommerce plugin, so they should be able to guide you there!
