I am having a terrible time trying to get mla to work at all on my site. Here is the summary. I will send a link, but I think its not going to help; mla is nonexistent on the front end. Any help is appreciated!

mla is installed and active, but shortcodes like [mla_gallery] and [mla_version] do not render. I confirmed with shortcode_exists() that MLA shortcodes are not registered, and even function_exists('mla_load') returns false. PHP logs show _load_textdomain_just_in_time errors referencing media-library-assistant loading too early. The plugin works in the admin, but not the front end.

SORRY FOR THE TYPO IN THE TITLE!

Thanks for your report. To investigate further I will need more information. Is it possible to contact me at my web site and send a copy of the PHP log and the Tools/Site Health Info tab by email? I can post a summary here when the issue is resolved.

You can use the Settings/Media Library Assistant Debug tab to download a copy of the log to a text file. You can use the “Copy site info to clipboard” function of the Site Health Info tab to copy the information to a text file.

I will leave this topic unresolved for now and I hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you for working with me offline to resolve this issue. Further investigation revealed that the PHP warnings were not involved and that the shortcodes were being registered as normal. Some adjustments to the [mla_gallery] shortcode parameters were required to give the expected results.

I am marking this topic resolved and wish you every success with your application. Thanks for making MLA a part of the work.
