Mobile and Main Menu Problems
-
Hi, Bento team and members,
I have a problem with the menu on every device (Mobile, Tablet, PC).None of the menu/hamburger is responding when I activate the Extended Header checkbox. I click and nothing happens to the menu links. When I deactivate this setting, the menus work fine, however, when I activate the link on each page, the menu on PC works fine but the Hamburger on phone disappears. Additionally, my site looks attractive and easy to use with the setting on. How can I use my menu easily without deactivating the setting?
Thanks in advanceThe page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Anybody with a solution?
Hey @owuor,
thanks for choosing Bento!
I can’t seem to be able to reproduce the bug – when I remove the extra custom CSS that hides the header and can actually see the menu hamburger on smaller screens, it reacts just fine to clicks on my device – am I missing something here? 🙂@owuor I’ve redacted your post, please never offer access to theme or plugin authors. If they take you up on that offer then they risk getting into real trouble in these forums.
I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask offer to give credentials to anyone on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
There are many ways to get information the author needs and offering accessing to your site is not one of them. That’s going too far.
- Paste a link to the http://pastebin.com/ log of the user’s web server error log.
- Create and post a link to their
phpinfo();output. - Install the Health Check plugin and get the data that way.
- Enable WP_DEBUG and log that output to a file and hare that file.
- Try basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins, clear their cache and cookies and try again.
- Provide a step-by-step on how the author can reproduce the problem.
You get the idea.
Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing your system that way is a short cut that will get any author into real trouble in these forums.

Thank you for the correction. I must admit I had not read the guidelines. Secondly, I thought since the comment was from Santori, then I could trust them since they are the theme designers.
My problem is simple, I am using Bento theme and I have issues with the menu settings. When I activate the extended menu setting below each page, I get my preferred menu layout but with the menu links unclickable both on my PC and mobile. When I de-activate the same setting, my menu links start working correctly but I can only view the menu when scrolling down. Please help. I am stuck.
Hey @owuor,
at the moment I cannot seem to be able to reproduce the bug – could you please make sure that the combination of settings that leads to it is active? Thanks!
