I’m using the Mobile App Download Feature. My Company is called Shake, but for some reason, the Card says “Download the Shake”. I’d Like to either change it to read “Download Shake” or “Download the Shake App”.

How do I do this? Where does that Language pull from?

Hi, the plugin just grabs datas from your application and your website so if there are some content you want to change just check your application or your website.

The plugin do not generate content. It grabs it and displays it in the appropriate meta.

    Hope it helps.

In the example in the Twitter documentation, they show a screen shot for Path and the App install text reads “Download the Path App”

I assume that this text pulls from the fields in the Deep Linking section. I first entered “Shake” in that field and later changed it to “Shake app”. I cannot get it to stop reading

“Get the Shake – Create contracts, Legal….”. I think it may partially be pulling text from our page in iTunes. How do I fix this?

Everything comes from your app page simply because datas are extracted from this page. So I recommand you to edit that app page on itunes to apply changes.

Interesting. So just out of curiosity, what does the iPhone Name parameter control?

As the name suggests it controls the rendering name of your application in twitter cards.

    I’m really confused right now.

That is what I originally assumed the name parameter did; however, your original response to this thread lead me to believe that the Card pulls the name from the app page itself. Which is it?

How do I control how my app’s name appears in the “Download button”?

This is not incompatible with the fact your settings for this app are grabbed from the app page so… you’d better looking for a way to set it up on the app market you use.

I mean you control the app page of your application if everything is alright so just modify your page.

Out of time. Hope for the best.

This question should not be marked resolved yet.

What exactly does the name parameter control? You’ve already told that it doesn’t appear in the app download section. So, where exactly does the information entered into that parameter appear within the cards?

Oh yeah it should because it’s not a plugin’s issue. Please read the full documentation of the plugin or go to dev.twitter.com where you can ask specific questions and find further documentation about application cards.
