    Hi Team,

I’m using the woocommerce classic checkout with the wordpress elementor (block based). If I open the checkout-page on my mobile phone in landscape format, the layout is fine. But in portrait format the fields with the payment options, the order summary and the send-button extend beyond their available area. Due to the current requirements for mobile display, I need your help customizing the view here.

Thank you very much and kind regards,

    Maja

  • Hi @friesenhund,

I understand that you’re looking for help with customization, but this request is outside the scope of our support. I recommend hiring an expert from codeable.io or consulting with WooExperts. Just to clarify, this forum is dedicated to providing support for core WooCommerce issues and bugs.

    Hi Moses,

no, I’m not looking for an customization.

If you put an product in the cart and change to the cart with your mobile phone in portrait format than you’ll see that parts of the formular are outside of the screen. For example the payment fields wich are generated by woocommerce.

Everything looks great on the tablet in both views. The same applies on the computer. On the cell phone, only the landscape format works properly, the portrait format (which is most commonly used) does not fit in terms of width in some places. And this cannot be fixed with manual CSS, as the IDs in question are global and therefore affect the entire page.

    Hi there!

I have tried to replicate the issue on your site but was unable to do so in portrait mode on my Android phone.

To assist you better, could you please share a screenshot of the issue you’re facing? Also, please note that the site layout is controlled by the theme you are using.

I would suggest contacting the theme provider and asking them to help you fix the layout issue on mobile. If you believe the issue is not caused by your theme, I recommend activating a default WordPress theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Five and checking if the issue persists.

Let me know how that goes!
