When the amp plugin is activated the google mobile friendly test always says “something went wrong” and will not test the page. I was wondering if anyone had an idea what the issue might be? It seems to work fine with normal viewing of the page. Thanks!

    Hello @rsmith4321

We are not sure about the cause, I will recommend checking if your firewall (Cloudflare firewall?) is preventing pages from being accessed in that case adding an exception to IP range is recommended.

I will recommend contacting Mobile-Friendly Test using the Feedback form to get or check their help section.

Sorry, we can’t be more of an assistance on this one

Thanks. Switching amp off it can test the page so I thought it might be something do to with the slightly longer delay cause by amp. But I can’t figure it out.

You can log server timings in the browser and check which one is causing delay, just add ?amp_verbose_server_timing=1 in the URL when you are logged in as administrator. (screenshot)
