Mobile Image Uploading

    Hey,

    I have a problem with getting images uploaded in [adverts add] from mobile devices.

    At first, it always told me, that there is a checksum issue. Anywway, by researching this forum I found out, that disabling my WPFastCache for this page would solve the problem – and it did.

    The problem now is, when users want to upload images using mobile devices, it takes ages to complete.. On desktop versions instead it works perfectly and always completes within seconds.

    Is there any option to decrease the uploading duration? Maybe an image-compress-plugin or something like that? It’s only on mobile devices…

    Hi,
    the compression plugin will compress the image once its already uploaded so it will not help with uploading the image itself.

    One question though does the file upload finishes or it keeps loading and never ends? There is a bug in mobile uploads (which we will be fixing soon in a new release) when you upload more than one image at once. If this is the case please send me a message via the contact form here https://wpadverts.com/contact/ i will send you a quick-fix.

    If its just taking a long time but always finishes loading then it might be a problem with the connection speed between you and the server or the server file upload settings. That is when file is being uploaded the server handles this request by itself (before PHP or WP is even run) so from the WordPress or WPAdverts level it isn’t really possible to change how fast will the images be uploaded.
