I just figured it out. Go to Appearance>Theme Options. The setting is there to turn on responsive but it’s defaulted to off. Never realized it was there and so happy I found it!
I am having the same problem, and tried this method but didn’t see the “responsive” option anywhere in theme options…
Go to Dashboard -> Theme Options-> General Settings
Turn ON………….
Enable Fixed Layout
Check to enable fixed layout.
(i.e. Disable responsive layout)
Even though it clearly says disable responsive.
Turn OFF…………………
Enable Boxed Layout
Switch on to enable boxed layout.
I contacted support and this is the instructions they gave me.
