Mobile Lazy Load

    Hello,

    So far I am enjoying your plugin, but am encountering an issue where images are not lazy loading on mobile according to Google PageSpeed Insights. Lazy load appears to be working correctly on desktop. Is there something in the settings I can adjust to fix this?

    Hi @tokodesign,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    The reason the images are not getting lazy load attribute added to them on your homepage in tokodesign.com is because these images are added through your editor as background images via CSS:https://snipboard.io/3B5ArZ.jpg

    Images added this way will not be able to be lazy loaded.

    Hey Jonathan,

    Appreciate the quick response and the info. Just to clarify background images will lazy load for desktop, but not for mobile? With google PageSpeed Insights I am getting a passed audit on desktop for ‘defer off screen images’ so wanted to check.

    Sorry for the delay here.

    I am afraid it won’t, the reason Google doesn’t report some images for Desktop is that those have a bigger impact on the mobile.
