Hey,
How are you going about merging your js files? I’m seeing your mobile menu working throughout your site. Have you cleared all your cache?
Regards,
Hannah
Hey i disabled it so my customers can use the menu 🙂 but if i activate it in swift performance lite it stops working tested on different devices and clearing the cache everytime after changing settings 🙂
Hey,
What exactly happens when you click on the menu? Is it just not opening? Have you tried deactivating your plugins to test if any are conflicting?
Regards,
Hannah
Yes its not opening, and yes when i disable merging scripts in Swift Performance lite it does work again. But its all on the kadence header because when i make a own Header with elementor it does work with merging scripts on which makes it even more weird 😛
Strange. I’ll have the developer look into this for you as soon as he’s available.
Thanks for your patience!
Best,
Hannah
Hi,
I looked at your plugin and I tested it, I can’t recreate the issue you are having. Can you tell me what setting specifically is affecting things for you? I tried with every setting combination I could. How do I recreate it?
One thing I see on your site and haven’t been able to recreate on my test is the addition of a ton of classes into almost every tag on the site. For example, they look similar to this: _5u
I’m not sure what the point of that would be but it does look like it’s creating the issue.
Ben
Hey Ben,
Like i said it is only a problem with merging scripts in the optimization tab and then scripts. doesnt matter what i disible or i exclude i dont get it to work. I dont know what kind of tags u mean but i dont use tags at all so??
If u need more info or log in info let me know.
Hey,
I tried those settings and didn’t have any issues.
Here is a screen shot of what I’m talking about: https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAulpyXz
None of those classes should be there. Something on your server is adding all that in and it’s breaking the makeup which is causing the issue with javascript and being able to use the navigation.
None of the settings I tried with Swift Performance Lite caused this. Are you perhaps using the pro version of that plugin with some additional settings?
Ben
No, I’m not using the pro version just lite. Could this cause by my hosting because I don’t know how else??? I have the same problem on several websites but the same hosting and I read on youtube that some hosting have a problem with merging script which makes the disk usage too high. But I don’t understand if I build a header with Elementor theme builder it does work with the same hosting as here netivion.com
I don’t think this is hosting. Can you turn off Swift Performance so I can see if it’s adding in all these classes. Again that is the problem that needs to be fixed merging scripts might be making that problem noticeable but the real problem and what we need a solution to is to fine out what is adding those classes in your HTML.
Ben
Yep indeed its swift lite performance or at least a setting in it. I disabled it now you can check for yourself!
Hey,
I suggest you contact swift and figure out what setting that is and whats it’s purpose is.
