Mobile nav menu

The theme is nice and easy for me to use. Unfortunately the mobile nav menu does not work. It appears on the page but it has no action. I have tried deactivating all plugins and also uninstalling and reinstalling the theme. That is the end of my skills. Any advice would be gratefully received.
