The size of thumbnail album cover and images are set fixed (in pixels on the plugin settings page). Displaying in lightbox is adjusted to the screen resolution.
That is gallery is displayed correctly on the screens of mobile devices.
If you mean anything else by responsive, please explain it in more detail.
