I’ve been testing out the mobile stacking feature in the email builder, but I’m not quite sure how it actually works. Could you share a bit more detail on this? Thanks!
Thanks for your question — mobile stacking can make a big difference in how your emails display, so here’s a breakdown of how it works.
For 1, 2, and 3-column product items If mobile stacking is enabled, products will be displayed as 1 per row on mobile.
If stacking is disabled, the columns will display the same way as in the desktop layout.
For 4-column product items If mobile stacking is enabled, products will be displayed as 2 per row on mobile.
If stacking is disabled, up to 4 columns will appear in a single row, mirroring the desktop layout.
• For 1, 2, 3, 4, and mixed-column layouts (non-product items) With stacking enabled, these layouts will be displayed as 1 column per row on mobile. With stacking disabled, the mobile view will follow the desktop preview.
Please note: the menu item will not be stacked, as the stacking logic currently applies only to layouts.
This gives you flexibility to decide whether to keep the desktop structure on mobile or simplify the design for smaller screens, ensuring your emails stay clear and easy to read. And if you’d like us to go deeper into any part of this, we’re always here to explain further.
