I have the following short code on my main page which displays blog posts
[bdp_masonry design=”design-2″ show_author=”false” show_date=”false” content_words_limit=”30″ media_size=”full”]
When I use the mobile WordPress App to add a blog entry, my website returns to a default 3 column blog layout showing dates, etc. It is ignoring the short code.

Sorry for my late response. This should not happen.
As per your response, it looks like your website have “Latest Post” selected in Reading Settings.

Although I am still not sure how/why the short code ever worked with this setting, it did seem to correct the issue once I made the change to a static page. Thanks for your help.

Glad to know that your problem has been solved.
Actually it is WordPress default functionality. If we choose it as a “Latest Posts” then page content does not work. It will display Posts as per your theme design.
When we have changed it as a “Static Page” then page content has started working.
