One possible fix for this might be to make the overlay draggable once it appears. So then it could be moved until the “X” is visible so people can close it on mobile devices.
Actually, now I realize, that if you know of a way to fix the other issue I posed (about popping under the social media icons), that would fix this problem at the same time. The social media icons are what block the “Thanks, but don’t show me this again!” message. If that link becomes visible, then it would not matter that the “X” is off the edge of the screen.
I also think it would be a good idea to make it so that if you click outside the overlay, that it closes the window. This would provide another way for mobile users to not get stuck without an escape.
I like “click outside” solution, may as well create is as an option – sometimes people actually want to lock users and even hide all close buttons until they make desired action (like)..
Please provide your phone/browser versions?
Chrome: Version 48.0.2564.116 m
Mozilla 43.0.1
I don’t have a phone. I just use online mobile test sites.
Latest version of pro version should look much better on mobile phones now, I did some work to make it responsive. Closing this one for now.
