I will purchase the PRO version if that will resolve this issue.

I am running a website for a company that needs users to be able to upload videos from their laptops, tablets, or phones. Everything works great (love the plugin) until they try to upload something from mobile and the file gets a “trim.” prefix – this triggers a “file not allowed” error.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Solved this by renaming file w/ datetime on upload.

    Hi,
I have the same problem and can’t fix it:
When I try to upload a video from mobile and the file gets a “trim.” prefix – this triggers a “file not allowed” error.
How can I change/rename the filename before trying to upload?
I’m using the free version 3.11.0.

    Many thanks in advance!

Hi, one solution is to change the behaviour of the plugin so that it does not reject files with many dots in the filename. The other is to rename the file during upload. What do you prefer?

    Hi Nickolas,

thanks for your reply. The first solution (no reject of files with many dots in filename) sounds nice. How can I proceed?

    Regards
