If you are viewing on IOS you are probably not logged in, hence why it’s asking for the name and email. An account need to be created to be able to vote or create an idea.
yes that will be the case so you can vote without login (its a membership site) via desktop but not on IOS?
No, there’s no difference between IOS and desktop…the only difference is that you happen to be logged in to WordPress on desktop, and on mobile you aren’t logged in.
To be able to create a post in WordPress you must have user account. So if a user is a guest it means they will be prompted first to enter their first name and email so a user account can be created for them in WordPress. If you are already logged in, this step is skipped.
In the plugin settings, guest voting and idea creation enables people who don’t have an existing account on WordPress to create an account via the plugin. When this setting is disabled only users with an existing login can create a vote or idea. I am pretty sure this is all covered in the FAQ so please read this. Thanks,
ok thanks I have just not understood fully thank you again for the quick response.
