Modals not showing up

    I installed the plugin, created a modal, created my link just as the example was set up, checked the demo site (and it still doesn’t work for me in any browser even though you stated in a post yesterday that it is updated and working). So I thought it might be a popup blocker not allowing my modal to show. Turned that off – no luck.

    Tried setting the modal to site-wide which isn’t going to be a workable solution anyway as I will have many, many modals and don’t want them all loading in the background in my footer on every page. But even that didn’t work for me.

    I tried the code snippet in my functions file you posted on one post to update the jquery version, no luck.

    Please help.

    Hmm. Sorry for the inconvenience. Do you by chance have a link I can check out to try and see what is happening?

    Also you mentioned the demo site is not working. Can you give me idea as to how it’s not working? Just tested it in IE and FF and it worked for both.

    I’m developing on my xampp server on my mac. So no link . . . on the demo site though, the links don’t open anything for me. The page just sits there.

    In FF, on the demo site the modal content shows up, but not in a modal, it just shows up below everything else with no styling. In Safari the demo site works the way it is supposed to. In Chrome, all the content from all the modals show up the same way: down the page with everything stacking on top of each other. Not hidden to begin with.

    On my site it doesn’t even do that. Nothing happens. I put my key in the plugin thinking maybe it wouldn’t work until after I did that . . .

    Additional information:

    I’m getting this console error:

    Uncaught TypeError: Object #<Object> has no method ‘on’ – easy-modal.min.js?ver=3.6:1

    That error means your jquery is out lt of date. The .on function was introduced in v1.9 I believe but you should just look into jquery.migrate which will fix the issues without breaking anything else.

    I will look into the demo site ASAP as it was working just yesterday so I may have broken it afterwards.
