Moderating New Users

    I have a new Blog running and I’m trying to figure out all my settings. What do I have to do so people that register can’t make fake email addresses to register? I need a way to make sure the emails that new users give are real.

    You’ve never registered on a WordPress blog, I take it? WordPress sends a password to the e-mail account that is provided by anyone registering. Consequently, using a “fake” e-mail address would prevent the user from getting a password, and logging in.
