Modern Child Theme Upload Error

    I downloaded the GeoDirectory Framework from this website: https://github.com/GeoDirectory/GeoDirectory_framework

    (Based on Paolo’s recommendation- not illegally.)

    Now when I try to activate the Modern Child Theme I recently purchased, I encounter the following error message:

    Broken Themes

    The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    GDF Modern parent theme- The parent theme is missing. Please install the “GeoDirectory_framework”

    I know I have the parent theme correctly installed and activated, so I’m perplexed as to why the child theme can’t register that. Any thoughts?
