• curious if mailchimp is making edits to the functions.php file without going through the standard wordpress upgrade process.

If it wasn’t you, it could be someone else trying to hack into our site, or your server.

    Thanks!

    Filename: wp-content/plugins/import-users-to-mailchimp/mailchimp-functions.php

    Severity: Warning

This file belongs to plugin “Import users to MailChimp” version “1.0” and has been modified from the file that is distributed by ww.wp.xz.cn for this version. Please use the link to see how the file has changed. If you have modified this file yourself, you can safely ignore this warning. If you see a lot of changed files in a plugin that have been made by the author, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin to force an upgrade. Doing this is a workaround for plugin authors who don’t manage their code correctly. [See our FAQ on http://www.wordfence.com for more info]

  • Hi there Brent,

Thanks for taking the time to post and I’d be happy to help you out however I can. It sounds like you might be using a different plugin from what we’re able to support here in this particular forum. Our plugin is called “MailChimp List Subscribe Form” and we’re on version 1.4.2. Our plugin doesn’t have “mailchimp-functions.php” file.

There does appear to be an “Import Users to MailChimp” plugin here where 1.0 is the current version: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/import-users-to-mailchimp/

Let us know if there’s any additional assistance we can provide! Have a great day.

    -Kath
